Psychiatrist – Child & Adolescent – 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough psychiatric assessments.

• Develop precise diagnoses and design personalized treatment plans that cater to each developmental phase.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic methods and medication management approaches for anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders.

• Create a collaborative, family-oriented treatment atmosphere.

• Inform families about mental health concerns and include them in the care planning process.

• Conduct virtual psychiatric intake sessions lasting 60 minutes and hold regular follow-up appointments.

• Maintain consistent communication with members and families through virtual care technology.

• Engage in team meetings and collaborative care planning.

• Offer consultative assistance to other team members.

• Keep precise and timely records of assessments, care plans, and progress notes.

• Utilize data analytics to evaluate outcomes and enhance the quality of care.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and quality standards as well as ethical, patient-centered care practices.

• Refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.

• Active license in at least one state.

• Previous experience providing telehealth therapy services in a virtual setting is preferred but not mandatory.

• Proficiency in computer and live video tools, including Zoom, Google Meets, DoxyMe, and Skype.

• Proven skills in engaging families.

• Experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults.

• Commitment to and awareness of JCAHO guidelines.

• Competency in operating within an accredited framework to guarantee safety, quality, and compliance.
