Psychiatrist – Child & Adolescent, 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough psychiatric evaluations.

• Develop precise diagnoses and tailored treatment plans.

• Apply evidence-based therapeutic practices and medication management techniques for anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders.

• Cultivate a collaborative, family-focused treatment atmosphere.

• Inform families about mental health concerns and include them in care planning.

• Conduct virtual psychiatric intake and follow-up sessions lasting 60 minutes.

• Maintain consistent communication with members and families through technology.

• Engage in team meetings and collaborative care planning processes.

• Offer consultative support to fellow team members.

• Keep accurate and timely records of assessments, care plans, and progress notes.

• Utilize data analytics to evaluate outcomes and enhance care quality.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and quality standards.

• Participate in continuous professional development and uphold ethical, patient-centered care practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.

• Active licensure in at least one state.

• Experience with telehealth therapy services in a virtual setting is preferred but not mandatory.

• Proficiency in computer and live video tools, including Zoom, Google Meets, DoxyMe, or Skype.

• Proven skills in family engagement.

• Experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults.

• Commitment to and knowledge of JCAHO guidelines.

• Competence in practicing within an accredited framework to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
