This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

• Evaluate patients through video consultations

• Conduct thorough virtual mental health assessments

• Gather patient medical information, including health history and mental status examination results

• Oversee psychotropic medications, including assessing medical history, medication responses, adherence, and tolerability

• Create and execute behavioral health treatment plans

• Analyze mental health assessment outcomes and administer medication management

• Collect, document, and safeguard sensitive patient information, including examination results, medical history, and reports

• Execute monthly chart reviews as part of the peer review quality assurance process

• Collaborate with primary care physicians, psychologists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals

• Operate under the supervision of a Medical Director

• Possession of an active and unrestricted M.D. or D.O. medical license in the state of residence

• Current and valid ABPN or AOBNP certification

• Graduate of a psychiatry residency program accredited by ACGME

• Commitment to ongoing medical education

• Proficiency in using video-conferencing platforms and eagerness to learn new technologies, such as Athena

• Familiarity with technology and comprehension of digital tools and platforms
