Certificate Processor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Issue new and renewal certificates for clients in the commercial line sector.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to insured individuals requesting certificates of insurance.

• Analyze and interpret data to ensure compliance with policy guidelines.

• Utilize Applied Epic, spreadsheet applications, and word processing software to gather insurance data and generate certificates.

• Examine insurance contracts to identify the appropriate certificate type and necessary information.

• Collaborate with Account Managers and other team members to gather required information.

• Process and print insurance documentation.

• Prepare documents for distribution via mailing.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent qualification.

• 1-2 years of experience in the insurance industry is required, with a preference for experience in commercial lines.

• An active General Lines or Property & Casualty License is required (the company will assist candidates in obtaining licensure if necessary).

• Proficient in entering, transcribing, storing, and managing data electronically.

• Capable of evaluating information against established standards.

• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure and high-volume work environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Experience with Applied Epic is preferred; familiarity with a similar Account Management System (AMS) is acceptable.

• A working knowledge of CSR24 is preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

• Frequent use of vision to read documents and computer displays.

• Regular use of hearing and speech for communication via telephone and in person.

• Involves repetitive hand movements, including typing, writing, and using a 10-key keypad.

• Ability to walk, bend, sit, reach, and stretch in all directions.
