Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments.

• Identify and treat psychiatric disorders.

• Oversee medication management.

• Provide ongoing psychiatric follow-up care.

• Deliver psychiatric services for children and adolescents.

• Offer adult psychiatric care.

• Provide geriatric psychiatric services.

• Facilitate telepsychiatry consultations.

• Conduct in-person psychiatric appointments.

• Create collaborative treatment strategies.

• Address specialty psychiatric populations utilizing physician expertise.

• Potentially guide and mentor psychiatric providers.

• Engage in physician recruitment and onboarding processes.

• Establish psychiatric clinical standards and promote evidence-based practices.

• Take part in quality improvement and patient care initiatives.

• Contribute to the development and growth of psychiatric programs.

• Work alongside executive leadership on strategic projects.

• Provide educational resources and clinical consultation for physicians.

• Assist in the advancement of psychiatric services throughout Wisconsin.

• Possibility to progress into a Medical Director or physician leadership position.


⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.

• Active medical license in Wisconsin or eligibility for licensure.

• Current DEA registration or eligibility.

• Strong dedication to ethical, compassionate, and evidence-based psychiatric practice.

• Preferred: Interest in pursuing physician leadership roles.

• Preferred: Desire to mentor fellow psychiatric providers.

• Preferred: Experience in developing clinical programs.

• Preferred: Enthusiasm for quality improvement and expansion of psychiatric services.
