Psychiatrist – 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough mental health medication management through 60-minute intake sessions and consistent follow-up appointments.

• Perform mental health risk assessments and evaluations of psychiatric medications.

• Offer continuous medication treatment over time.

• Develop patient-focused treatment plans and document recommendations for treatment.

• Communicate with patients and prescribe as well as manage psychiatric medications.

• Implement evidence-based medication treatment in accordance with clinical best practice standards.

• Provide culturally sensitive care to patients from various backgrounds with diverse needs and abilities.

• Refer patients to therapy and coaching services that are evidence-based.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a board-certified MD or DO in psychiatry.

• Possession of an unrestricted state license in Illinois; licenses from other states are an advantage.

• Strong preference for clinicians holding an active DEA license.

• Required to have office space capable of accommodating client visits.

• Ability to care for patients with a wide range of diagnoses, clinical complexities, and severity levels.

• Preference for providers who can offer in-person services.

• Must be a full-time resident of the United States.
