Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – CA Virtual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Perform 90-minute psychiatric diagnostic assessments for adults and seniors

• Deliver evidence-based therapies for mental health conditions

• Create tailored treatment plans for each patient

• Oversee psychiatric conditions utilizing psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and other non-pharmacological methods

• Keep an active intake schedule along with follow-up appointments

• Implement Measurement-Based Care tools

• Collaborate with care coordination and members of the clinical team

• Identify suitable patients for interventional psychiatry, such as TMS/SAINT and Spravato, and initiate referrals

• Ensure accurate medical documentation in adherence to clinic policies and regulations

• Engage in clinical consultations, receive constructive feedback, and enhance care

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing

• Board certification as a PMHNP by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)

• Current DEA registration

• Up-to-date BLS certification

• Valid and unencumbered NP license and NP furnishing number in California

• NP103 status is preferred but not mandatory

• Strong preference for familiarity with Measurement-Based Care tools and interventional psychiatry techniques (TMS, esketamine/Spravato, accelerated neurostimulation)

• Capability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume intake setting with dynamic scheduling and efficient care coordination workflows

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
