This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
β’ Perform in-depth psychiatric evaluations utilizing evidence-based assessment tools.
β’ Identify and treat various mental health conditions such as anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, eating disorders, OCD, substance use disorders, ADHD, and personality disorders.
β’ Prescribe, oversee, and monitor psychiatric medications following clinical guidelines and state regulations.
β’ Evaluate treatment effectiveness, monitor side effects, and ensure patient adherence.
β’ Create, implement, and modify personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary clinical team.
β’ Coordinate care with therapists and other healthcare professionals, including making appropriate referrals.
β’ Educate patients on their diagnoses, available treatment options, and prescribed medications.
β’ Maintain timely, precise, and comprehensive clinical documentation.
β’ Ensure adherence to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
β’ Engage in quality improvement initiatives and promote continuous clinical excellence within a virtual care environment.
β’ Valid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification.
β’ Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Registered Nurse (RN) licenses in the relevant states.
β’ Preference for multistate licensure, with a primary clinical focus on Maryland (MD), Virginia (VA), and Washington, DC.
β’ A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a practicing Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
β’ Strong clinical understanding of psychiatric disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
β’ Proven expertise in managing psychiatric medications.
β’ Exceptional clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to establish rapport in a virtual care setting.
β’ Dedication to providing compassionate, culturally sensitive, and patient-centered care.
β’ Familiarity with telehealth technologies and remote clinical workflows.
β’ Preference for availability for full-time clinical practice; contractor arrangements may be considered based on experience and organizational requirements.
β’ Active licensure, DEA registration, and prescribing authority in all states where patients are treated.
β’ Responsible for maintaining all necessary credentials and adhering to applicable state and federal regulations.
