Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP – Telehealth, Addiction & Mental Health Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Perform initial and follow-up evaluations through telehealth.

• Deliver care for mental health and substance use disorders.

• Prescribe medications as necessary and address member inquiries.

• Ensure timely documentation in the Healthie EHR system.

• Collaborate with the healthcare team and engage in scheduled meetings.

• Evaluate and manage complex mental health issues.

• Provide evidence-based treatment in a completely virtual setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active, unrestricted PMHNP license in New Mexico (Medicaid enrollment is a plus).

• Active license in your state of residence if it differs from New Mexico.

• At least 2 years of experience (addiction or mental health preferred; strong candidates with less experience may be considered).

• Experience in prescribing Suboxone and possessing an active DEA registration.

• Willingness to acquire additional state licenses.

• Strong empathy for individuals dealing with behavioral health issues.

• Comfortable using technology, including EHRs and mobile applications.

• A private, quiet workspace and reliable internet connection for HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions.
