Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP – Telehealth Addiction & Mental Health Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Oversee member care in collaboration with counselors, therapists, peer support specialists, and case managers

• Deliver evidence-based treatment for individuals dealing with substance use disorders and mental health issues

• Perform initial and follow-up telehealth assessments

• Provide care for both substance use and mental health conditions

• Prescribe medications when appropriate and address member inquiries

• Complete documentation using the Healthie EHR

• Work in partnership with the care team

• Participate in occasional scheduled team meetings

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an active, unrestricted license in Arizona

• Active and verifiable PMHNP license in the state(s) where you practice, as well as your state of residence if it is not Arizona

• Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in addiction or mental health treatment; relevant prior experience may be considered for candidates with less than 2 years of PMHNP experience

• Experience in prescribing Suboxone

• Active DEA registration

• Willingness to acquire multi-state licensure

• Medicaid enrollment is advantageous

• Compassion for members facing behavioral health challenges

• Proficient in using technology, including EHRs and mobile applications

• A quiet, private office equipped with a reliable internet connection for HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions
