This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta.
β’ Identify, assess, conduct demonstrations/testing, and onboard leading payment providers for new market entries and enhancements in existing markets.
β’ Oversee daily interactions with Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and Risk solution providers.
β’ Execute annual contract evaluations and fee negotiations in collaboration with the Director of Payments.
β’ Assess payment costs against conversion/performance metrics alongside the Product team.
β’ Monitor supplier incidents and implement escalation procedures to uphold superior acceptance rates.
β’ Act as the primary contact for internal teams regarding supplier specifics, fee structures, and technical representatives.
β’ Inform pertinent departments about changes related to PSPs.
β’ Conduct ongoing operational, financial, and compliance risk evaluations on supplier configurations.
β’ Enhance current systems and processes.
β’ Oversee system queues, follow up on pending tasks, and investigate new requests.
β’ Keep track of competitor offerings, regulatory changes, and emerging payment technologies.
β’ Utilize advanced AI tools, including Claude, to optimize the upload of onboarding documentation and contract synthesis.
β’ Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position within a high-risk industry such as iGaming or Forex, with a network in offshore markets.
β’ Demonstrated capability to leverage an established payment network and execute rapid onboardings across various brands.
β’ Proficient in managing high-volume onboarding workflows.
β’ Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities.
β’ Practical experience in gathering due diligence documentation, reviewing contract terms, and optimizing pricing structures.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
β’ Willingness to travel occasionally to Malta and participate in key industry conferences approximately twice a year.
β’ Professional certifications in payments, compliance, or risk management are considered advantageous.
β’ Experience in integrating generative AI workflows, such as Claude, for documentation management is a plus.
