Provider Scheduling Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the daily management of provider calendar modifications, including DTO, shift exchanges, and adjustments to schedules.

• Oversee schedules to pinpoint gaps, excesses, or discrepancies in alignment with clinical demand and Time to First Appointment SLAs.

• Ensure precise scheduling records and conduct audits of internal changes for consistency and compliance.

• Act as a primary contact for providers concerning internal scheduling logistics.

• Collaborate with clinical leadership to manage coverage during provider leave, onboarding, or offboarding processes.

• Communicate scheduling expectations and updates on deadlines to providers.

• Work alongside Credentialing & Licensing and regional leaders to ensure licensure readiness and panel assignment prerequisites are met.

• Partner with Practice Operations to anticipate resource needs during periods of increased volume or workforce transitions.

• Assist in the transition of care workflows by updating schedules for new clinician assignments.

• Propose enhancements to internal scheduling processes.

• Aid in the testing and implementation of new scheduling tools, automations, or standard operating procedures (SOPs).


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in scheduling for at least 15 clinicians, handling high-volume calendar requests, or working within healthcare operations or administrative coordination (experience in a telehealth startup is preferred).

• Familiarity with scheduling platforms, EHR systems, or internal workflow tools (such as Jira, Asana, Salesforce).

• Exceptional organizational and communication capabilities.

• Strong attention to detail coupled with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

• Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, with the ability to analyze and identify schedule gaps or utilization challenges.
