This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee the complete provider experience and the overall service delivery for a designated medium- to low-complexity portfolio.
• Partner with local market and matrix collaborators to enhance the provider experience.
• Develop and sustain strategic action plans for providers.
• Recognize provider opportunities and risks, and drive the resolution process.
• Gather, document, and disseminate market intelligence to foster strategic enhancements.
• Collect, analyze, interpret, translate, and distribute provider informatics, reports, and dashboards.
• Monitor and track performance guarantees.
• Enhance Provider Index scores through proactive network service and support initiatives.
• Review reports and dashboards with individual providers.
• Educate providers on Cigna's objectives, procedures, policies, and programs.
• Act as a provider advocate both internally and externally.
• Consult with key matrix partners as a subject matter expert.
• Prepare and engage in presentations directed at providers and clients.
• Represent Cigna to medical societies and external provider organizations.
• Facilitate joint operating committees, including setting agendas, meeting facilitation, and follow-up actions.
• A Bachelor's degree or higher is strongly preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in provider relations is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in account management is preferred.
• Experience in claims administration is preferred.
• Proficient in using Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
• Familiarity with Proclaim or Facets is preferred.
• Exceptional oral, written, interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of medical insurance products and related provider issues.
• Capability to support an account management team in resolving issues.
• Ability to thrive in a matrixed environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
• For remote work, a cable broadband or fiber optic internet connection with a minimum of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload speed is required.
