This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete provider experience and service delivery for the designated medium- to low-complexity portfolio.

• Lead, collaborate on, and support initiatives in local markets aimed at enhancing the provider experience.

• Develop and sustain strategic action plans for providers.

• Identify opportunities and risks associated with providers and drive their resolution.

• Gather, document, and disseminate market intelligence to facilitate strategic enhancements.

• Act as the primary external contact for designated providers.

• Collect, analyze, interpret, translate, and share provider informatics, reports, and dashboards.

• Monitor and track performance guarantees.

• Enhance Provider Index scores through proactive network support and services.

• Review provider reports and dashboards with individual providers.

• Inform providers about Cigna's goals, procedures, policies, and programs.

• Act as an advocate for providers both internally and externally.

• Consult with matrix partners as a subject matter expert or consultant.

• Create and participate in presentations for current and prospective providers and clients.

• Represent Cigna at medical societies and external provider associations.

• Oversee joint operating committees, including setting agendas, encouraging participation, and ensuring follow-up.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or higher is strongly preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in provider relations is preferred.

• Preferred experience in successful account management.

• Experience in claims administration is preferred.

• Proficient in using Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.

• Experience with Proclaim or Facets is preferred.

• Strong oral, written, interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation skills are essential.

• Knowledge of medical insurance products and related provider issues.

• Ability to support an account management team in resolving issues.

• Capability to work effectively in a matrix environment.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

• A home internet connection via cable broadband or fiber optic service with a minimum of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload is required for remote work.
