Provider Recruiter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Oversee the sourcing and development of pipelines for Optometrist (OD) positions within ReFocus practices.

• Assist in candidate sourcing for key physician roles and ophthalmology specialties, including retina and comprehensive ophthalmology.

• Identify and engage both active and passive candidates through various recruiting platforms, direct outreach, referrals, and partnerships with educational programs.

• Perform initial candidate screenings to evaluate experience, interests, geographic preferences, and overall compatibility.

• Guide candidates through the sourcing and interview processes, escalating discussions related to offers and finalizing activities with the Physician Recruitment leadership.

• Organize interviews, practice visits, and follow-ups with candidates.

• Collaborate with Physician Recruitment leadership and internal stakeholders to comprehend provider hiring requirements and sourcing priorities.

• Keep precise records of candidate pipelines, sourcing activities, recruiting metrics, and ATS data.

• Assist in recruiting events, conferences, residency/fellowship programs, and engage with optometry schools.

• Establish relationships with optometry schools, training programs, and other sources of provider talent.

• Represent ReFocus at selected recruiting and industry events as directed by Physician Recruitment leadership.

• Travel approximately 15–20% as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition; healthcare experience is preferred.

• Proficient sourcing skills with a proven ability to engage passive candidates.

• Exceptional communication, organizational, and relationship-building abilities.

• Capacity to manage multiple searches and candidate pipelines concurrently.

• Familiarity with ATS and recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn, PracticeMatch, PracticeLink, or Doximity is preferred.

• Willingness to travel approximately 15–20% of the time.
