Provider Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Recruit dentists and ensure their retention within the network, aligning with set goals and priorities.

• Perform follow-up calls to dental practices that have requested information, been referred by members, or are targeted for recruitment.

• Conduct visits to dental offices within the territory through both cold calls and scheduled appointments.

• Monitor, assess, and devise strategies to enhance network participation and overall performance.

• Engage in community events attended by providers, such as dental conferences.

• Build relationships with key administrators of both new and participating group practices.

• Negotiate fee schedules with dental practices and ensure their completeness upon review.

• Collaborate with the Manager of Network Development to enhance network participation.

• Support providers in resolving issues, including contract disputes, grievances, and claims.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Willingness to travel 25-50%, including some overnight travel as necessary.

• Highly driven individual with a proven track record of achieving sales and recruiting targets.

• Experience in the insurance industry; dental experience is preferred.

• Strong focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience.

• Outstanding negotiation abilities.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

• Proven capability to take initiative, make independent judgments, and be a self-starter.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize various tasks effectively.

• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic understanding of Salesforce.com.

• At least 1 year of recruiting or sales experience required.

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• Valid Driver’s License is essential.

• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
