Protective Services Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute comprehensive executive protection strategies for high-profile individuals.

• Perform risk evaluations and vulnerability assessments, providing recommendations for mitigation measures.

• Deliver driving, logistics, and protective services for senior executives, Board members, and other designated individuals.

• Assist with public appearances, meetings, engagements, and both domestic and international travel.

• Oversee security arrangements for conferences, meetings, and special events.

• Manage on-site security teams and liaise with law enforcement and emergency response services.

• Execute security audits and inspections to ensure compliance with policies and industry standards.

• Implement and oversee surveillance and various security technologies.

• Educate and train employees on security best practices and emergency response protocols.

• Administer assigned components of the Protective Services program.

• Work collaboratively with Site Security Leaders, HR, Legal, Facilities, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Prepare After-Action Reports to document lessons learned and areas for improvement.

• Manage specific special projects as designated.

• Quickly respond to locations needing additional security support during crises or incidents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related discipline, or 10 years of law enforcement or military experience in a comparable field.

• Must be licensed to carry a firearm.

• Must satisfy applicable LEOSA eligibility criteria.

• Must have legal authorization to carry a concealed firearm.

• Successfully pass a Fitness for Duty Examination.

• Prior experience in executive protection, ideally with high-profile clients.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; estimated average travel of 40–60%.

• Demonstrated experience in supporting security operations at large-scale events.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

• Capability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.

• Proficiency in security technology and surveillance systems.

• Must be able to deploy swiftly for urgent or emerging security requirements.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long durations.

• Background and drug screening required.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Must be a U.S. Person or obtain authorization to access U.S. export-controlled information.
