Prospect Research Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and distribute regular and ad hoc reports on prospect portfolios, fundraising activities, proposal performance, donor engagement, and assignment management.

• Analyze data related to fundraising and prospect management to uncover trends, opportunities, and areas of concern.

• Create dashboards, visualizations, and analytical tools to aid leadership in decision-making and strategic planning.

• Monitor and report on portfolio health, assignment utilization, proposal progression, and fundraising activities.

• Provide data-driven insights to enhance portfolio composition, fundraising effectiveness, and prospect movement.

• Assist in the administration and maintenance of prospect assignments throughout the development organization.

• Review prospect records, proposals, activities, and associated data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

• Conduct data audits and recommend corrective measures as needed.

• Maintain documentation for business processes, portfolio standards, reporting methodologies, and assignment procedures.

• Contribute to data quality initiatives and ensure the integrity of constituent and fundraising information.

• Enhance Prospect Management reports, workflows, business processes, analytical tools, efficiency, reporting capabilities, data quality, and user adoption.

• Collaborate with teams in Advancement Services, Research, Development, and Information Technology.

• Support special projects related to fundraising analytics, campaign planning, prospect identification, and strategic portfolio management.

• Uphold Prospect Management policies, procedures, best practices, training materials, documentation, and communications.

• Stay informed about fundraising trends, prospect development methodologies, advancement analytics, and industry best practices.

• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct at all times.

• Attend approximately five Division-wide events each year and participate in the first-year new hire orientation on the Tampa campus.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience directly related to the specified duties and responsibilities.

• Work experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.

• Preferred experience in higher education, nonprofit fundraising, Advancement Services, prospect development, prospect management, or prospect research.

• Must meet all employment eligibility requirements in the U.S.

• May be required to undergo a Level 1 or Level 2 criminal background check.
