This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the complete delivery of intricate analytical workstreams, from problem definition to final insights.
• Convert complex workforce datasets into straightforward, actionable insights and recommendations to aid client decision-making.
• Create executive-quality narratives, visualizations, and presentations that effectively communicate key findings.
• Organize insights to facilitate strategic decisions and transformation initiatives.
• Ensure the accuracy of data, consistency in methodology, and compliance with delivery standards.
• Review and validate the analytical work produced by Senior Analysts and Analysts.
• Document methodologies, data transformations, and analytical assumptions thoroughly.
• Oversee analytical workflows to ensure they are timely, efficient, and mitigate risks.
• Create templates, standard modules, and reusable analytical assets.
• Enhance analytical processes, methodologies, and standardization efforts.
• Evaluate the feasibility, complexity, and effort required for proposed workstreams.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and clients to ensure analytical outputs align with project goals.
• Mentor analysts and contribute to the development of scalable methodologies and best practices.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in analytics, consulting, research, or a related field.
• A degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred (Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field).
• Experience in client-facing or stakeholder-facing roles is essential.
• Proven ability to manage complex analytical workstreams from problem definition to delivery.
• Skill in translating complex data into clear insights, narratives, and recommendations for decision support.
• Capability to handle multiple components of analytical workstreams with a keen attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity while maintaining analytical rigor, speed, and context for clients.
• Experience in creating client-ready visualizations, presentations, and analytical storytelling.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A solid background in quantitative analysis, data interpretation, and quality assurance.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar analytical programming tools.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in mentoring analysts and contributing to reusable analytical frameworks or best practices.
• Background in workforce analytics, skills data, HR technology, or labor economics is a plus.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
• Must reside and work in a state where Lightcast is authorized to operate; this role excludes Alaska, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
