Proposal Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire proposal process for RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs from inception to completion.

• Manage and execute short-term projects lasting 4–8 weeks with strict external deadlines.

• Ensure that proposals are thorough, accurate, well-crafted, and submitted punctually.

• Collaborate across functions to guarantee that the relevant teams review and finalize proposal documents.

• Edit material to create a unified narrative.

• Compose content as necessary to complete proposals.

• Partner closely with the lead Account Executive or Account Manager to establish effective win themes and content.

• Oversee, edit, and generate content associated with the creation and delivery of proposals.

• Work alongside departments and subject matter experts according to proposal needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in writing, editing, and managing content.

• Two to four years of experience in a role that supports the sale or procurement of software as a service (SaaS).

• Exceptional written communication abilities.

• Strong project and time management skills.

• Capability to work collaboratively across functions and ensure that all subject matter experts meet deadlines.

• Ability to perform under pressure while managing tight deadlines.

• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, or similar software.

• Experience and/or interest in the energy/utility sector is advantageous.

• Familiarity with HubSpot or similar software is a plus.
