This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee all phases of the proposal development process from pre-RFP to submission to enhance contract award success.
• Direct and assist in the creation of compliant and persuasive federal government proposals by collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Draft, revise, and manage responses to government RFPs, RFQs, Task Order Proposals, and RFIs.
• Organize and handle multiple proposal efforts concurrently while ensuring adherence to schedules and compliance standards.
• Act as the main point of contact for designated proposal initiatives.
• Develop kickoff packages, proposal timelines, and compliance matrices.
• Facilitate both virtual and in-person meetings.
• Oversee the development, review, and production of proposal content.
• Evaluate and rewrite sections of proposals to ensure consistency, compliance, responsiveness, and overall quality.
• Address clarification requests, deficiency reports, and final proposal revision inquiries within tight deadlines.
• Support and maintain repositories for proposal knowledge management and SharePoint libraries.
• Quickly adjust to shifting priorities and customer requirements in a fast-paced small business setting.
• Preferred bachelor's degree in business administration, Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field.
• Four years of experience with the federal government, supporting federal government contracting, or military service may replace the requirement for a bachelor's degree.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in writing, coordinating, and managing federal government proposals.
• Preferred experience working within a small business or veteran-owned business context.
• Skills in proposal writing, editing, and content development.
• Capability to convert technical information into clear and engaging proposal narratives.
• Ability to thrive under strict deadlines, manage multiple competing priorities, and adapt swiftly.
• Experience in supporting rapid-turn proposals with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and proposal collaboration tools.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, during active proposal periods as required.
• Preferred AMPM certifications.
• Familiarity with the Shipley Proposal Process or similar proposal development methodologies is preferred.
• Knowledge of federal government procurement processes and SETA environments is advantageous.
• Experience in supporting proposals for IT, cybersecurity, engineering, or technical support services contracts is preferred.
• Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one is preferred.
