Proposal Development Specialist – Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +26 more states.

📋 Description

• Independently strategize, compose, and oversee multiple RFP/RFI requests concurrently within tight deadlines.

• Gather and arrange information from diverse functional areas to craft compelling, thorough, and persuasive responses.

• Ensure proposal content, style, consistency, tone, presentation, and accuracy are maintained.

• Collaborate with leadership and representatives from various functional areas to guarantee precise responses.

• Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional and cross-regional teams on strategic RFPs/RFIs.

• Implement concepts through final proposals or presentations for finalists.

• Partner with Marketing Leadership, General Managers, and Executive Management Leadership members on business matters concerning RFIs and RFPs.

• Lead RFP initiatives aimed at securing new business and retaining strategic accounts.

• Act as a subject matter expert on strategic business units, products, operations, healthcare delivery systems, and financial guarantees.

• Keep response data accurate, current, and relevant in the team database.

• Consult on, manage, and execute special projects for sales executives.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or English, or four (4) years of professional experience in one of these areas (Required).

• Five (5) years of professional writing experience in marketing, public relations, or business communications (Required).

• Five (5) years of experience in crafting responses to RFP/RFI requests or professional business writing.

• Five (5) years of experience in the healthcare sector, preferably in health insurance (Preferred).

• Master’s degree (Preferred).
