This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +6 more states.
• Evaluate proposal requirements to ensure alignment with CET's mission, capabilities, and operational needs.
• Engage in opportunity assessments and capture essential decisions, requirements, and messaging.
• Utilize Salesforce to monitor and manage the status of pipeline opportunities.
• Develop proposal templates and submission checklists according to RFI/RFP specifications.
• Verify that written materials meet CET's content, stylistic, and quality standards.
• Maintain a library of reusable resumes, forms, and necessary attachments.
• Ensure that proposal attachments are complete, precise, and ready for submission.
• Oversee timelines, milestones, deadlines, review cycles, and final document assembly.
• Track NDAs, subcontracts, framework agreements, contracts, and signatures.
• Handle multiple concurrent deadlines while resolving or escalating issues as needed.
• Facilitate strategic sessions for opportunities and convert discussions into outlines and initial drafts.
• Collaborate with the CEO, CGO, Operations, and various departments to gather proposal-related information.
• Enhance knowledge of CET's programs, services, experience, and unique selling points.
• Employ repurposed content, AI drafting tools, and team guidance to create accurate initial drafts.
• Customize proposal structure, formatting, and tone to fit the needs of funders, clients, and solicitations.
• Integrate feedback through multiple rounds of revisions.
• Keep track of RFP, RFR, and grant opportunity platforms.
• Align funding opportunities with organizational priorities in collaboration with Program and Project Managers.
• Conduct research on data, new funding sources, and government, industry, and philanthropic avenues.
• Assist with post-award project setup, closeout processes, and transition to project management and functional teams.
• Prepare PowerPoint project summaries for internal kickoff meetings and transitions.
• Update the Resource Management tool with anticipated staffing requirements.
• Review contract language for risks, inconsistencies, and consistency with existing agreements.
• Assist in procuring goods and services necessary for project execution.
• A bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of proven experience in proposal and report coordination.
• Exceptional organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple detailed tasks under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• High accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Strong editing capabilities and ability to produce clear, structured, and precise written content.
• Proficient in utilizing AI tools to expedite initial drafts and enhance language quality.
• Capability to read and interpret contractual and legal terminology, including NDAs, subcontracts, and compliance criteria.
• Preferred familiarity with state, federal, and utility procurement, grant applications, or funding processes.
• Experience with philanthropic grant processes is a plus.
• Comfort and experience working in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication skills with customers, clients, vendors, and colleagues via phone, email, meetings, presentations, and events.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Teams.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets, CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), and various digital collaboration tools.
• Reliable high-speed internet access and a distraction-free working environment during business hours.
• Must reside in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, or Vermont.
• Successful completion of a background check is a prerequisite for employment.
