This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Analyze and receive Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from the Business Development team.
• Assign and notify relevant Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) regarding RFPs.
• Draft and revise proposal texts, budgets, and cover letters for RFPs and rebids.
• Ensure that proposal texts and budgets are consistent with RFPs, client requirements, communications, and internal assumptions.
• Acquire third-party quotes as necessary.
• Oversee proposal processes and stage gates from the receipt of RFPs to final delivery.
• Collaborate with contracts, finance, and operations teams to facilitate project initiation as part of PlanActivation™.
• Update proposals and sales management tools, systems, and forms regarding the status and value of proposals or rebids.
• Coordinate and take part in project hand-over meetings.
• Acquire skills to present budgets in formats specified by clients or as requested.
• Provide functional guidance and apply process guidelines to internal stakeholders as needed.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent in a business or health-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Limited experience or exposure to proposal preparation in the CRO/pharmaceutical sector.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), along with email and voicemail skills.
• Understanding of the clinical development process, as demonstrated by prior work experience in clinical research or other drug development roles.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and adaptively to meet deadlines.
