This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Engage in organized virtual, classroom, and on-the-job training that encompasses insurance policies, claims procedures, systems, and protocols.
• Analyze, investigate, and document first-party property claims under direct oversight.
• Collect information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third-party providers.
• Examine and evaluate pertinent facts and documents, such as leases, contracts, and bylaws.
• Identify and apply coverage for building damages in accordance with policy stipulations.
• Define accurate scopes of damage for both building and contents losses.
• Create written estimates and/or utilize computer-assisted estimating tools.
• Interact professionally and promptly with customers, claimants, and internal teams.
• Keep precise records of claim activities in claim management systems.
• Adjust to AI advancements, digital transformations, technology implementations, system enhancements, and digital tool introductions.
• Evaluate and inspect all areas of properties or structures.
• Travel to various locations, which may involve overnight stays.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s Degree.
• A High School Diploma or GED alongside one year of customer service experience.
• Previous internship or work experience in customer service or the insurance sector.
• Willingness to secure an active adjuster license where mandated by state regulations.
• A valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Eagerness to learn claims management and estimating software.
• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make effective decisions within designated authority.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities; capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Basic conflict resolution skills.
• Capability to assess and inspect properties and structures, including roofs, attics, crawl spaces, and confined spaces.
• Ability to carry, set up, and climb ladders weighing approximately 38-49 pounds.
• Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license and/or UAS Remote Pilot Certification within three months of commencing the position.
• Willingness to live in or relocate at personal expense to the designated Denver-area territory.
• May necessitate extensive travel, including overnight stays.
