Property & Casualty Licensed Insurance Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +33 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for clients

• Oversee both incoming and outgoing customer communications

• Utilize web-based tools to address customer inquiries

• Carefully manage and respond to all incoming and outgoing inquiries

• Deliver exceptional customer service through attentive listening

• Handle sensitive customer information with care

• Strive to resolve issues during the first call

• Communicate effectively with customers and implement retention strategies as needed

• Identify customers engaged in comparison shopping and assist with contract terms and appropriate price plans

• Compassionately address delicate situations related to healthcare, education, and prevention planning

• Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and support departments to resolve issues and meet performance objectives

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 6 months of experience in customer service

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Ability to type a minimum of 25 words per minute

• Comfortable using desktop computer systems

• Basic understanding of Windows-based systems

• Prior experience in customer service and/or sales is preferred

• College degree is preferred but not mandatory

• Ability to adhere to established procedures

• Capability to work well with team members, supervisors, and support departments

• Excellent communication, listening, and analytical skills

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to prioritize tasks and perform well under pressure

• Open to feedback, adaptable to changing policies, and able to work within a structured schedule with varied shifts

• Sharp critical thinking skills

• Dedicated workspace close to the router for a hardwired Ethernet connection

• Internet speed of at least 15 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload

• ISP latency must be under 50ms

• Internet connection must not be satellite, mobile data/hotspots, P2P, or VPN

• Proof of internet speed is required

• Must reside in one of the specified eligible U.S. states
