This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +42 more states.
• Conduct intricate data analysis for designated client groups.
• Assess findings in relation to overarching business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, confirm findings, and agree on recommended actions.
• Formulate recommendations, enhance procedures, and pinpoint further analyses required for effective solutions.
• Prepare and present findings and recommendations to business partners.
• Co-present outcomes to senior management.
• Review the work of less experienced team members for accuracy, logic, and relevance.
• Develop and refine reporting processes for client data and insights.
• Identify opportunities to boost reporting efficiency, consistency, and frequency.
• Mentor and guide team members on reporting procedures, analytical methodologies, and communication of results.
• Engage in employee resource groups and volunteer activities.
• Facilitate onboarding and relationship-building through proper camera use.
• Travel as necessary for divisional, team, and other in-person meetings.
• Meet business needs by dedicating extra time and assisting other teams as required.
• Support Commercial Lines analysis, with the possibility of Personal Lines analysis as business requirements dictate.
• Contribute to larger initiatives and lead smaller projects.
• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Over 5 years of directly relevant experience.
• Proficient coding and data visualization skills.
• Experience with SAS, Snowflake, and Power BI.
• Strong research, statistical, analytical, and mathematical abilities.
• Capable of structuring and performing complex analyses and effectively communicating findings.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and engage with diverse audiences.
• Strong adaptability, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities while offering coaching, mentorship, and constructive feedback.
• An MBA or other advanced degree in a related field and/or CPCU designation is preferred and would be viewed positively by the employer.
• In-depth knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance concepts, products, and industry practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SAS, SQL, Visual Basic, and structured analysis and design methods.
• Must possess authorization to work indefinitely in the United States.
