Property Adjuster – Field Estimating

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Visit clients' residences to conduct on-site property evaluations.

• Examine coverage and evaluate property damages.

• Create estimates and resolve claims efficiently.

• Manage virtual claims utilizing Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration.

• Specialize in water damage, minor fire incidents, wind/hail claims, and various property claims.

• Provide empathetic, clear, and supportive claims assistance.

• Keep clients updated through phone, email, or video communications.

• Negotiate reasonable settlements with clients, vendors, and other insurance carriers.

• Apply critical thinking and available resources to address issues in a fast-paced setting.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the claims system.

• Participate in approximately two weeks of training in either Wheeling, Illinois or Dallas, Texas.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in property adjusting, water mitigation, or independent adjusting, along with estimating (preferred).

• Proficiency in Xactimate is highly sought after.

• Strong critical thinking and technical abilities to accurately assess damages.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to travel to clients' homes and manage virtual claims nationwide.

• Detail-oriented and well-organized.

• Must be able to carry a 50-pound ladder and access a 6/12 pitch on a one- to two-story roof.

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel is essential.

• Residency in the Seattle Metro area is a requirement.

• Completion of approximately 2 weeks of training in Wheeling, IL or Dallas, TX is mandatory.

• Must undergo a background check.

• Must secure an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire if mandated by the office/area.

• A dedicated, distraction-free home workspace is required.

• Must have suitable desk and seating arrangements while working from home.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is necessary.

• Allstate typically does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position.
