Property Adjuster – Field Estimating

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Visit customers' residences to perform on-site property assessments.

• Examine coverage details and evaluate property damage.

• Generate estimates and resolve claims efficiently and promptly.

• Manage virtual claims nationwide utilizing Xactimate, ClaimsX Video Collaboration, and other platforms.

• Specialize in water-loss claims.

• Deliver compassionate, clear, and outstanding service to policyholders.

• Interact with customers via phone, email, and video chat.

• Negotiate claim settlements with clients, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.

• Implement legal and industry-standard settlement practices.

• Employ estimating tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to address claims.

• Accurately and promptly document claim activities in the claims system.

• Participate in approximately two weeks of training in Dallas, Texas.

⛳️ Requirements

• Residency in the specified location is required.

• A minimum of 2 years' experience as an outside adjuster is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in Xactimate and other relevant estimating software is essential.

• Strong critical thinking and technical abilities to accurately assess damages and expedite claims resolutions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.

• Willingness to travel to customers' homes and manage virtual claims nationwide.

• Detail-oriented and well-organized.

• Capability to carry a 50-pound ladder and access roofs with a pitch of up to 6/12 on one- to two-story buildings.

• A valid driver's license and readiness to travel are necessary.

• May need to secure an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire.

• Active insurance license holders must terminate existing appointments and cannot hold outside appointments during employment.

• Must have a dedicated, private workspace at home with reliable internet, featuring a minimum speed of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.

• Submission to a background check is required.

• Allstate typically does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas.

• This position is not available to residents of California, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
