Property Accounting Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Acquire knowledge about the line of business, daily team duties, and its role within the larger real estate sector.

• Participate in internal training programs focused on applications and operational methodologies.

• Aid in the monitoring and analysis of monthly operational outcomes and financial statements.

• Assist in the preparation of financial outlooks and forecasts.

• Contribute to the creation of financial reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.

• Help facilitate the annual budgeting process by collecting and organizing financial information.

• Collaborate with various teams to provide financial insights and support.

• Participate in additional projects to gain experience in financial planning.

• Establish connections and collaborate with other Greystar teams to achieve common objectives.

• Present the Final Capstone Project.

• A strong sense of curiosity and a passion for learning.

• A quantitative background that showcases analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of conveying complex subjects clearly.

• A high level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.

• Commitment to meeting deadlines.

• Preferred educational background: Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Expected graduation between December 2026 and May 2027.
