Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Record and process purchase invoices along with expense documentation.

• Track, organize, and maintain supporting accounting records.

• Prepare monthly accounting provisions and accruals.

• Conduct reconciliations for bank and credit card transactions.

• Generate monthly expense reports and analyze spending discrepancies.

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices and related documents.

• Assist in the monthly accounting close process.

• Aid with tax compliance and provide necessary documentation to external accountants.

• Ensure accurate and current accounting and financial records are maintained.

• Coordinate and manage tasks utilizing Slack and ClickUp.

• Promote continuous enhancements in accounting and administrative workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance-related positions.

• Practical experience in processing purchase invoices and expense documentation.

• Familiarity with preparing accounting accruals and provisions.

• Experience executing bank and credit card reconciliations.

• Understanding of the monthly closing procedures.

• Knowledge of tax concepts and regulatory compliance (including VAT, withholdings, and tax documentation).

• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

• Experience in startups or technology companies is a plus.

• Familiarity with ERP systems like Odoo, SAP Business One, Tango, Bejerman, Xubio, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar is advantageous.

• Experience with collaboration tools such as Slack, ClickUp, Asana, or Jira is a plus.
