Property Accounting Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Acquire knowledge about the specific line of business, the daily responsibilities of the team, and its role within the larger real estate sector.

• Complete internal training programs focused on applications and operational methodologies.

• Aid in the monitoring and analysis of monthly operational outcomes and financial reports.

• Contribute to the development of financial outlooks and forecasting.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.

• Help in the annual budgeting process by collecting and organizing financial information.

• Collaborate with various teams to deliver financial insights and support.

• Contribute to additional projects to gain experience in financial planning.

• Foster relationships and partner with Greystar teams to achieve common objectives.

• Manage complete accounting tasks for assigned properties.

• Review financial statements, prepare journal entries, conduct bank reconciliations, and execute accounting control processes.

• Engage in a 10-week summer internship program from June 2, 2027, to August 6, 2027.

• A strong curiosity and eagerness to learn.

• A quantitative background showcasing analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with a knack for explaining complex subjects.

• High accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to meeting deadlines.

• Preferred academic background: Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Anticipated graduation between December 2026 and May 2027.
