This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +7 more states.
• Oversee and manage survey crews and office personnel to ensure projects are completed accurately, punctually, and within budget constraints.
• Collaborate with various departments and project teams on interdisciplinary projects.
• Supervise the surveying discipline for the projects assigned.
• Conduct and assess boundary and Right of Way (ROW) calculations and drawings.
• Ensure technical standards, project deliverables, timelines, and quality are maintained.
• Formulate project scopes, budgets, and fee structures.
• Assist in the preparation of project submissions, RFIs, and other essential deliverables.
• Estimate the time required for work tasks for proposals and project planning.
• Maintain communication with clients and provide regular progress updates.
• Identify potential opportunities for new projects and aid in converting leads into business.
• Draft written communications for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Build and sustain professional relationships through technical, civic, and industry organizations.
• Represent the company and its clients at public meetings when necessary.
• Guide, mentor, and assess team members' performance.
• Support internal training initiatives.
• A Bachelor's Degree is required.
• At least ten (10) years of relevant work experience, including experience in boundary and ROW resolution.
• A valid Professional Surveyor's License in OH, PA, WV, NY, OK, NC, and FL.
• Capability to obtain additional licenses across the United States.
• A valid driver's license is necessary.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, ORD, or similar surveying software.
• Experience with Terrestrial LiDAR and UAV is preferred.
• Competence in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a project team.
