Project Surveyor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Coordinate and lead survey teams and office personnel to ensure projects are completed accurately, on schedule, and within budget.

• Collaborate with various departments and project team members on interdisciplinary projects.

• Manage a specific discipline within broader multidisciplinary projects.

• Conduct and review boundary and Right of Way calculations.

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, local, and corporate regulations and requirements.

• Oversee the technical quality, project deliverables, and timelines.

• Perform and verify calculations and drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

• Develop project scopes, budgets, and fees within the designated discipline.

• Assist with project submissions, RFIs, and other deliverables.

• Estimate time required for work tasks for proposals and project planning.

• Maintain communication with clients and provide regular progress updates.

• Ensure compliance with company QA/QC procedures and quality standards.

• Identify new project opportunities and aid in converting leads into business.

• Prepare written communications for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Build and sustain professional connections through technical, civic, and industry organizations.

• Represent the company and clients at public meetings as necessary.

• Direct, mentor, and assess the performance of team members.

• Assist with internal training initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is required.

• At least ten (10) years of relevant experience, including expertise in boundary and ROW resolution.

• A valid Professional Surveyor's License in OH, PA, WV, NY, OK, NC, and FL.

• Capability to obtain additional licenses throughout the United States.

• A valid driver's license.

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, ORD, and/or similar surveying software.

• Experience with Terrestrial LiDAR and UAV is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a project team.
