This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist Project Managers and project personnel in compiling financial data for monthly client reporting.
• Deliver financial status reports, covering burn rate, outstanding backlog, and project profitability.
• Oversee invoicing processes and perform quality assessments for intricate government contracts.
• Create and uphold reports and financial management tools related to project budgets.
• Relay project financial status, risks, and updates to Project Managers and Directors.
• Supervise and ensure quality control for data entry in online government record systems.
• Organize monthly invoicing, including detailed justifications for line-item costs.
• Aid in forecasting and comparing actual expenses to budgeted amounts.
• Act as a key contact for government clients regarding project financial and administrative issues.
• Collaborate with finance, billing, project management, and project control teams to address financial challenges.
• Establish and maintain process documentation, procedures, and guidance materials.
• Support subcontractor acquisition and management, including communication and tracking of applications and budgets.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred in Business, Management, Communications, Public Policy, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant professional experience in forecasting, data management, reporting, analysis, compliance, finance, or a related area.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, logical formulas, data validation, and conditional formatting.
• Capability to analyze, manipulate, and interpret data to assist business decisions.
• Familiarity with fundamental finance processes and basic accounting principles.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with project teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify issues, assess options, and propose solutions.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional demeanor, sound judgment, discretion, and meticulous attention to detail.
