Project Origination Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Identify and secure appropriate land for large-scale photovoltaic initiatives

• Negotiate lease contracts with landowners and local governments

• Initiate contact with municipalities and external partners

• Utilize GIS and other IT tools to pinpoint and assess potential solar sites

• Review and oversee project documentation and contracts

• Collaborate with the project development team to adhere to timelines

• Ensure effective communication, information management, and documentation

• Secure land lease agreements for parcels relevant to the project

• Build and nurture relationships with landowners, municipalities, and other stakeholders

• Manage stakeholder relationships to facilitate successful land acquisition and project advancement from inception to development

• Prepare and negotiate agreements; final approval will be managed by the appropriate leadership

• Transfer the project to the development team once the acquisition is finalized

⛳️ Requirements

• A vocational qualification is essential for this position

• A university degree is not required, provided the candidate possesses relevant professional experience in the field

• Several years of experience in the development and construction of PV, wind, or battery storage projects

• Capability to understand the technical, resource-related, and financial feasibility of project development

• Commercial experience within the energy sector is advantageous

• Established network and knowledge of grid operators, authorities, and municipalities

• Strong sales experience and a commitment to working with people

• Understanding of the technical, resource-related, and financial components of project development in the renewable energy sector

• Practical experience in developing and constructing large-scale PV, wind, or battery storage projects

• Proficiency in negotiation and contract management

• Flexibility and willingness to travel

• Certifications relevant to renewable energy project development are a plus

• Fluency in German is a requirement

• Proficiency in English is preferred
