This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Strategically plan, budget, oversee, and document projects associated with new business integration and ongoing business initiatives in contract logistics.
β’ Manage implementations that emphasize warehousing and distribution centers.
β’ Collaborate with clients and DSV leadership to ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope, and adhere to budget constraints.
β’ Align inputs from clients and the business to establish clear project scope.
β’ Develop comprehensive project schedules encompassing milestones, critical-path tasks, dependencies, and tasks for internal, client, and contractor involvement.
β’ Effectively communicate project scope and timelines to project resources and stakeholders.
β’ Hold team members and contractors accountable for their deliverables.
β’ Oversee project budget, scope, timeline, and change control processes.
β’ Lead status meetings to capture updates, next steps, and risks/mitigation strategies, and facilitate detailed discussions within small groups.
β’ Escalate issues and risks to the Manager and Project Sponsor as necessary.
β’ Provide updates to the Steering Committee regarding executive-level status, budget, and risks.
β’ Plan and manage the transition from project execution to stable operations.
β’ Facilitate AQP sessions effectively.
β’ Assist in drafting MS Project files for RFP responses.
β’ Construct detailed project plans with clear tasks, due dates, and assigned owners.
β’ Anticipate risks and develop, as well as implement, mitigation plans.
β’ Ensure project owners are aware of and fulfill their responsibilities.
β’ Verify the quality and progress of work, proactively follow up on outstanding items, and drive timely completion.
β’ Maintain alignment among teams regarding priorities, sequencing, timing, and status (red/yellow/green).
β’ Manage resources allocated to project teams and support special projects, implementations, and process improvements.
β’ A four-year degree is required; a background in Management, Engineering, or Operations is preferred.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management is necessary.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in the Logistics/Warehousing industry is required.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio is essential.
β’ Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems is necessary.
β’ Proficient English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills are required.
β’ Strong interpersonal communication and language skills are essential.
β’ Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business, from floor staff to executives.
β’ Good mathematical skills are required.
β’ Experience in e-commerce, including launching solutions from small to large volumes, is preferred.
β’ Must be able to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures during both warmer and colder months.
β’ Willingness to work mandatory or voluntary overtime as dictated by business needs is essential.
β’ Ability to travel via plane and automobile is required.
β’ Must meet physical requirements involving hands, arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing, and using a computer/telephone.
β’ Preferred: Experience in a 3PL environment.
β’ Preferred: Familiarity with warehouse automation applications, including Pick to Light, Automated Sortation, Voice Pick, and conveyor design.
β’ Preferred: PMP or other formal project management training.
β’ Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
β’ Spanish language skills are a plus.
β’ Base pay range of $105,000.00β$130,000.00 annually.
