This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Oversee drinking water, wastewater treatment, and water-related infrastructure projects across Colorado’s Front Range.

• Cultivate and enhance client relationships while aligning company offerings with client requirements.

• Lead project teams to ensure high-quality project execution.

• Plan, execute, monitor, and manage projects to adhere to schedule, budget, quality, and health and safety standards.

• Establish project scope, objectives, resources, and comprehensive project plans.

• Track progress, manage risks and changes, address challenges, and provide project updates to stakeholders.

• Manage small to mid-size, moderately complex projects with limited supervision.

• Define project goals, decision-making processes, schedules, budgets, and criteria for success.

• Set communication strategies, motivate teams, resolve conflicts, offer constructive feedback, and celebrate achievements.

• Foster the growth of project team members through ongoing learning, skill enhancement, and mentorship.

• Draft scopes of work, assumptions, limitations, schedules, work breakdown structures, and project budgets.

• Implement measures to mitigate schedule delays and monitor project performance.

• Develop, implement, and oversee quality management plans and processes.

• Prepare and secure approval for change orders.

• Identify risks, create mitigation strategies, track risks, and update project risk profiles.

• Spearhead the development and execution of project-specific health and safety plans.

• Manage third-party vendors according to contracted scope, quality, budget, and timeline.

• Monitor profitability using earned value analysis, revenue forecasting, invoicing, and collections.

• Support client service, satisfaction, sales, and marketing initiatives.

• Provide mentorship and knowledge-sharing to less experienced team members.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, business administration, or equivalent relevant experience is a must.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in successfully managing increasingly complex projects.

• Proficiency in developing and managing project schedules.

• Proficiency in developing and managing project budgets.

• Experience with risk management principles.

• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Proven ability in project planning, risk and change management, and contract management for small to mid-size projects.

• Strong skills in budget, quality, and change management.

• Knowledge of quality and change management tools, techniques, and processes.

• Familiarity with contract management and client service.

• Strong business insight and understanding of financial performance and revenue generation.

• Excellent communication, client service, and engagement abilities.

• Strong team/staff management capabilities.

• PE or equivalent licensing, or ability to obtain through reciprocity within 6 months.

• Preference for a Colorado PE license.

• PMP certification is preferred.

• Previous supervisory or mentoring experience is a plus.

• Role may allow for remote work from within Colorado.

• Periodic travel along the Front Range is necessary.

• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
