Project Manager, Robotics Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Collaborate in managing the organization alongside the commercial co-founder, ensuring the technical strategy aligns with business objectives.

• Design and develop the MVP for robotics automation solutions that merge Physical AI intelligence with tangible hardware.

• Utilize Physical AI models to enhance process automation and improve operational efficiency in environments driven by hardware.

• Outline the technology stack, software/hardware architecture, and roadmap for product scalability.

• Keep abreast of trends in robotics, AI, and automation.

• Recruit, guide, and mentor a compact team of robotics engineers.

• Convert customer insights and market demands into technical specifications.

• Foster a culture that emphasizes code quality, accountability, swift iteration, and high execution standards.

• Develop workflows for hardware-software co-development, establish robotics CI/CD pipelines, create simulation-to-real testing frameworks, and implement safety and data compliance standards.

• Design, source, modify, and prototype hardware for Physical AI automation.

• Collaborate with the Lead Physical AI/Machine Learning Engineer to integrate intelligent software with hardware.

• Connect robotics engineering with commercial viability while influencing hardware and engineering strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of leadership experience in automation projects or within robotics firms.

• At least 5+ years of practical robotics engineering experience.

• Proficient in designing, prototyping, sourcing, and modifying hardware.

• Familiarity with mechatronics, kinematics, sensor integration, embedded systems, and control systems.

• Strong foundation in hardware and robotics engineering.

• Demonstrated experience in constructing scalable physical automation solutions and developing deep-tech architecture from the ground up.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a practical approach to execution in an early-stage environment.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in both Polish and English, with strong verbal and written capabilities.

• A solid understanding of Physical AI / Embodied AI hardware needs and challenges in digital-to-physical execution is a plus.

• Experience throughout the AI/ML development pipeline is advantageous.

• Background in deep-tech, AI, or engineering-focused startups is beneficial.

• Familiarity with fundraising processes and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical investors is a plus.

• Legal authorization to work in the EU.
