Project Manager – Retail Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee stakeholder engagement including architects, engineers, and supply chains to ensure project compliance.

• Assess, monitor, and manage essential milestone activities to prevent schedule delays.

• Ensure effective governance, processes, and systems for project management.

• Implement best practices across various projects.

• Generate formal project status reports along with any other necessary documentation.

• Supervise multiple construction projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to approved design standards.

• Manage supplier interactions through monthly tracking and weekly reviews.

• Facilitate the flow of project information through regular meetings and written communications.

• Anticipate and update project milestones and budget forecasts.

• Oversee and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria.

• Offer technical assistance to owners, architects, general contractors, and regional stakeholders.

• Quickly respond to field Requests for Information (RFIs).

• Provide expertise in cost management, value engineering, and constructability analysis.

• Independently review status reports, drawing submissions, timelines, and costs.

• Cultivate strong client relationships to maximize new opportunities.

• Guide project teams on strategies that align with client and business objectives.

• Capture essential project information and lessons learned.

• Identify enhancements to internal systems and processes.

• Comply with SOX control responsibilities where applicable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.

• Must be willing to travel every three weeks.

• Strong organizational and management capabilities.

• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a diverse team.

• Proficient presentation skills.

• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management software.

• Excellent communication skills.
