This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Direct the planning, implementation, and completion of renovation and refresh initiatives for retail banking branches.
• Oversee numerous branch renovation and retail banking enhancement projects from inception to conclusion.
• Collaborate with banking clients, architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, facilities teams, and regulatory bodies.
• Create and sustain project timelines, milestones, critical paths, and delivery obligations.
• Implement project governance, standards, processes, and reporting mechanisms.
• Generate project status updates, executive summaries, risk logs, and leadership communications.
• Supervise branch renovations ensuring adherence to design, branding, security, and operational standards.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, change orders, and financial controls.
• Reduce disruptions to branch operations, customers, and staff.
• Track progress in design, permitting, procurement, construction, and project closure.
• Evaluate contractor and consultant performance regarding quality, safety, timelines, and budgetary goals.
• Review project paperwork, drawings, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Facilitate problem resolution related to field conditions, RFIs, change requests, and operational issues.
• Recognize risks and devise mitigation plans.
• Assist with value engineering and propose cost-effective alternatives.
• Maintain client relations and act as a trusted advisor.
• Identify opportunities for program enhancements, process efficiencies, expanded services, and future projects.
• Assist in business development initiatives.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in managing retail, banking, corporate interiors, renovation, or construction projects.
• Experience in overseeing multi-site renovation programs and expedited project delivery settings.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and construction administration.
• Proven experience working in occupied facilities while ensuring business continuity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Excel, and other project management software platforms.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes, accessibility standards, life safety regulations, and banking security protocols.
• Responsibilities related to SOX control may be included as applicable.
