This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Spearhead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of retail banking branch construction projects from the ground up and fit-out initiatives.
• Oversee multiple branch renovation and retail banking enhancement projects from initiation to completion.
• Collaborate with banking clients, architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, facilities teams, and regulatory bodies.
• Create and sustain project schedules, milestones, critical paths, and delivery obligations.
• Implement project governance, standards, processes, reporting frameworks, and controls.
• Generate project status reports, executive summaries, risk registers, and updates for leadership.
• Supervise renovations to ensure adherence to design standards, brand specifications, security protocols, and operational requirements.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, change orders, and cost control measures.
• Minimize disruptions to branch operations, customers, and employees during renovation activities.
• Track design development, permitting, procurement, construction progress, and project closeout.
• Evaluate contractor and consultant performance concerning quality, safety, timelines, and budget goals.
• Review drawings, schedules, budgets, project documentation, and contractor submissions.
• Address field conditions, requests for information (RFIs), change requests, and operational hurdles.
• Identify risks and formulate mitigation strategies.
• Support value engineering and the pursuit of cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, accessibility standards, life safety regulations, and banking security guidelines.
• Foster client relationships and pinpoint opportunities for program enhancements, process efficiencies, expanded services, and future project prospects.
• Travel regionally to project sites as required, approximately 25%-30% of the time.
• A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience managing retail and/or banking ground-up and/or fit-out construction projects.
• Proven experience overseeing multi-site retail construction projects and fast-track project delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and construction administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Excel, and various project management software platforms.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Must comply with applicable SOX control responsibilities when necessary.
