Project Manager – Retail Bank Construction, Ground-Up/Fit-Outs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of retail banking branch construction projects from the ground up and fit-out phase.

• Manage various branch renovation and improvements within retail banking from the start to the finish of each project.

• Collaborate with banking clients, architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, facilities teams, and regulatory bodies.

• Create, track, and uphold project timelines, milestones, critical paths, and delivery obligations.

• Implement project governance, standards, processes, and reporting frameworks.

• Generate project status reports, executive summaries, risk registers, and updates for leadership.

• Supervise branch renovations to ensure adherence to design standards, brand specifications, security measures, and operational requirements.

• Administer project budgets, forecasts, change orders, and cost management.

• Coordinate activities to minimize disruptions to branch operations, customers, and staff.

• Oversee design development, permitting, procurement, construction progress, and project closure.

• Evaluate contractor and consultant performance against quality, safety, schedule, and budget targets.

• Assess project documentation, drawings, schedules, budgets, and contractor outputs.

• Address field conditions, RFIs, change requests, and operational issues.

• Recognize risks and formulate mitigation plans.

• Promote value engineering and cost-efficient solutions.

• Ensure adherence to building codes, accessibility standards, life safety regulations, and banking security protocols.

• Foster client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.

• Identify program enhancements, process improvements, expanded services, and future project prospects.

• Assist in business development initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.

• 5+ years of experience in managing retail and/or banking ground-up and/or fit-out construction projects.

• Proven experience in overseeing multi-site retail construction projects.

• Experience in environments that require fast-track project delivery.

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and construction administration.

• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Excel, and project management software platforms.

• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

• Willingness to travel regionally 25%-30% to project sites as needed.
