
Project Manager – Operational Excellence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Strategically plan, oversee, and implement various cross-functional projects aimed at minimizing SG&A and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Develop and manage project plans, charters, timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress toward goals.
• Recognize risks, dependencies, and obstacles; formulate mitigation strategies to ensure initiatives remain on track and within defined scope.
• Collaborate with Finance to quantify cost savings, productivity enhancements, and return on investment (ROI) from operational excellence (OE) initiatives.
• Facilitate process standardization and automation across various functions, including Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Intake, Credentialing, Finance, IT, HR, and Shared Services.
• Work alongside digital and data teams to incorporate automation, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions into redesigned workflows.
• Assist in OE governance routines, including prioritization sessions, dashboards, and executive-level reporting.
• Provide leadership with clear, data-driven updates on project advancement and outcomes, maintaining visibility throughout.
• Ensure stakeholder alignment and engagement by implementing structured communication and feedback mechanisms.
• Aid in preparing stakeholders and developing training plans for new processes and technologies.
• Advocate for OE principles, a culture of continuous improvement, and accountability across teams.
• Evaluate adoption and sustainability to guarantee that SG&A reduction targets are achieved and upheld.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline is preferred (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is preferred).
• 4–7 years of experience in project management or process enhancement, ideally within healthcare or rapidly growing service organizations.
• Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional projects that resulted in significant cost reductions or productivity enhancements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; capable of interpreting operational and financial data effectively.
• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Monday.com, MS Project) and familiar with process-mapping and data visualization software.
• Outstanding communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills across various stakeholder levels.
• PMP, CAPM, or Lean Six Sigma certification is strongly preferred.
