Project Manager – New Product Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage projects from their initiation to completion.

• Ensure that projects align with business goals and meet customer needs.

• Coordinate project resources and manage progress reporting.

• Lead troubleshooting initiatives to resolve issues and guarantee successful project outcomes.

• Monitor project performance, assess risks and results, and suggest modifications to schedules, costs, and resources.

• Manage intricate innovation, supply, or cost-related projects, encompassing scheduling, execution, and delivery.

• Act as the gatekeeper of the Stage Gate process throughout ideation, prototyping, testing, and execution phases.

• Suggest enhancements to the Stage Gate process.

• Provide guidance to senior leaders regarding project performance, risks, opportunities, execution, and resource distribution.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as the primary project contact.

• Identify project risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Train and mentor cross-functional project teams.

• Maintain the category innovation roadmap and monitor resource availability.

• Provide mentorship and support for project task execution, professional growth, and team objectives.

• Adhere to company policies and standards.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• 3-5 Years of relevant experience.

• Familiarity with Project Management Life Cycle.

• Experience in Project Implementation.

• Strong influencing skills.

• Proficient in budgeting.

• Knowledge of vendor management.

• Experience with subcontracting.

• Skills in risk mitigation.

• Expertise in process improvement.

• Proficient in document control.

• Experience in commissioning.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

• Ability to work in office settings, on plant/warehouse floors, during various shifts, and at heights/elevated platforms.

• Capability to utilize necessary equipment and PPE, including hard hats, safety glasses, safety shoes, and safety vests.
