Project Manager – Mission Critical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Participate actively in the comprehensive cross-functional project team.

• Contribute to the quality of deliverables, which include fee plans, work plans, risk mitigation strategies, and contracts.

• Address and resolve issues that may affect project objectives.

• Aid in the development of scope and budget/pricing for proposals and adaptive project planning.

• Foster client relationships and support business development aligned with the strategic business plan.

• Serve as the primary internal contact for communication and identify variances between planned and actual performance.

• Advocate for SNHA, A Woolpert Company, and Woolpert as leaders in mission-critical practices and services.

• Collaborate with Market Leads to negotiate project schedules, fees, scopes, and contract terms for complex multidisciplinary projects.

• Recognize, address, and resolve project-related issues that impact client goals, objectives, and satisfaction.

• Define and convey client needs and expectations clearly.

• Ensure ongoing communication with stakeholders by addressing, resolving, and anticipating project-related issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• An active Professional Registration (Licensed Architect or Licensed Engineer) is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the Architectural, Engineering, or Construction industry is required.

• PMP Certification is a plus.

• Strongly preferred experience in mission-critical or data center environments, or projects of similar complexity and scale (approximately 400,000 square feet).

• Ideal candidates will have experience with multi-disciplinary projects, including mission-critical initiatives such as airports, healthcare facilities, large transportation terminals, or semiconductor facilities.

• A solid understanding of project management fundamentals is essential.

• Proven ability to facilitate technical discussions.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities with skills in negotiation, influence, and risk management.

• Effective communication skills for both internal and external relationships.

• Capability to make informed decisions and recommendations based on thorough evaluation and synthesis of project data.

• Willingness to travel for local, regional, and national clients and projects.
