Project Manager – Medical Communications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee all facets of medical communications projects from initiation to conclusion, which includes content creation, advisory board management, and speaker training.

• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and liaise with various departments within the company.

• Fulfill client and management expectations while fostering robust relationships with clients and faculty.

• Ensure that programs are aligned with objectives and remain within established limits.

• Create, sustain, monitor, and reconcile project budgets effectively.

• Supervise external vendors and resources.

• Keep programs on schedule and aligned with key goals.

• Provide regular updates to internal team members and client contacts.

• Cultivate and maintain knowledge of client organizations, products, disease states, and medical education.

• Participate in new business development initiatives within the account team.

• Arrange and lead start-up, interim, and final team meetings.

• Set up and uphold time and event schedules.

• Manage faculty recruitment, audience generation, content creation, logistics, registration, participant communication, materials production, supplier performance, and central file management.

• Assist in the training of new members of the account team.

• Uphold company policies and comply with Lockwood Group policies and standard operating procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of three to five years of pertinent project management experience in a healthcare communications setting is required.

• Ability to understand and retain scientific information.

• Strong technical skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.

• Must be able to work remotely from the United States, with the exception of Colorado, New York City, and San Francisco County, California.
