Project Manager – Medical Communications

📋 Description

• Oversee all facets of medical communications projects from start to finish, which includes content creation, advisory boards, and speaker training.

• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and engage with every department within the company.

• Fulfill client and management expectations consistently.

• Cultivate robust relationships with faculty members.

• Ensure programs stay on course and within the established parameters.

• Create, sustain, monitor, and balance project budgets effectively.

• Supervise external vendors.

• Keep programs on schedule and centered on primary objectives.

• Provide regular updates to internal team members and client representatives.

• Manage project resources efficiently.

• Establish and nurture relationships with clients and faculty.

• Maintain professional communication in both written and verbal forms.

• Ensure that all client expectations are satisfied across all program activities.

• Stay informed about client organizations, their products, disease states, and medical education.

• Contribute to initiatives aimed at new business development.

• Organize and lead project team meetings, while keeping track of time and event schedules.

• Supervise faculty recruitment, audience development, content creation, logistics, registration and participant communication, materials production, supplier performance, and centralized file management.

• Assist in onboarding new account team members.

• Uphold company policies and comply with Lockwood's policies and standard operating procedures.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of three to five years of relevant project management experience in a healthcare communications setting is required.

• Ability to understand and retain scientific information effectively.

• Strong technical skills are essential.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.

• Capability to manage multidisciplinary teams successfully.

• Excellent financial management abilities.

• Highly organized with skills in multitasking and prioritization.

• Ability and eagerness to inspire and motivate others.
