Project Manager, Libraries

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee all facets of project management, coordination, and execution for Twist Bioscience’s gene mutant library and associated businesses, including Site Variant Libraries (SVL) and Combinatorial Variant Libraries (CVL).

• Facilitate communication between customers, international sales and support, customer service, legal teams, and the library business group.

• Address and direct customer and global sales/support inquiries; provide necessary information and maintain records.

• Organize and compile customer library design input to ensure designs align with customer requirements and fabrication capabilities.

• Gather cost estimates for library designs to prepare quotes.

• Create and distribute quotes for libraries and related business; manage the quotation database.

• Keep databases updated for NDAs, quotes, designs, orders, and shipments.

• Maintain a clear and accessible list of library projects in progress.

• Ensure accurate record-keeping for reporting purposes on quotes, orders, and shipments.

• Provide customers with updates on project progress.

• Manage communication related to order fulfillment details and deliverables with customers and internal teams.

• Utilize general knowledge of library fabrication workflows.

• Undertake ad hoc projects as necessary.

• Adhere to regulatory standards and ISO 13485 requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-3 years of pertinent work experience in the life sciences or a related field, including over 2 years in a customer-facing role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related Life Science discipline.

• Experience in customer communication from initial inquiry to service delivery.

• Familiarity with service offerings and the customer workflows they address.

• Proven capability to collaborate effectively with customers, internal operations, and sales teams.

• Demonstrated history of managing projects that fulfill customer expectations.

• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

• Hands-on, energetic, and positive attitude with a proactive approach to accomplishing tasks.
