This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee projects throughout the entire project life cycle, adhering to defined scope, timelines, and resource limitations.
• Assist in the IT Development of the new Student Information System (SIS)/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program.
• Take ownership of organizational readiness and adoption for Liberty's multi-year SIS/ERP replacement initiative.
• Develop and establish the change management framework for the SIS/ERP program.
• Design and execute a stakeholder engagement strategy.
• Set up and manage governance structures and accountability mechanisms for decision-making and committee formation.
• Coordinate readiness initiatives with development teams and various departments.
• Create and refine the impact assessment process.
• Identify adoption risk categories and monitor associated mitigation strategies.
• Develop a communication strategy and calendar in collaboration with the university's communications team.
• Establish readiness KPIs and scorecard metrics; assess participation and engagement levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage risks and progress, ensuring alignment with university priorities and stakeholder expectations.
• May oversee a team of 5 or more individuals.
• Comply with Liberty University policies and represent the institution with professionalism.
• Work effectively as a team player while promoting and embodying LU’s Christian values and mission – Training Champions for Christ.
• Extensive technical expertise with in-depth knowledge across various systems, processes, or products.
• Strong grasp of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience is mandatory.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or CSPO are preferred.
• 5-6+ years of project management or related professional experience is essential.
• Experience in change or release management, ideally on a large, cross-institutional scale.
• Proficient in understanding, speaking, reading, and writing in English.
• Excellent interpersonal and public communication abilities.
• Skilled in standard office software and relevant project/program management tools.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
• Ability to perform desk-based tasks, including computer usage and data entry.
• Capable of effective communication in meetings and collaborative environments.
• A valid driver’s license, acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval, and liability insurance are required when driving as part of the employee’s duties.
